When you have your initial meeting with your wedding planners and you are being advised on how to create your dream wedding ceremony, you are really hoping for a beautiful, fresh spring day to provide the backdrop to your wedding!
We at Irlam Warburton Events, Cheshire Wedding Planners, were lucky enough to plan a luxury wedding for one of our couples. The wedding was on Good Friday, which this year fell in March. Our brief was to make the wedding ‘enchanting and romantic’ and so we set about making our lovely couple’s dreams come true.
So on the big day, we were very fortunate that the weather was on our side, it was a bright morning and the sun was shining as the glamorous guests arrived. Entering through the glass-sided oak ceremony room, they were greeted by a colourful, floral canopy of dreams which was accentuated by the sun streaming through the glass. You know it’s started well if you hear guests ‘gasp’ as they walk into a room full of sensational flowers.
At Irlam Warburton Events, we like to hit all the senses to create the ultimate experience and the aroma of the spring flowers created a ‘romantic spring feel’ which could be enjoyed as friends and family walked under the exquisite canopy.
This visual spectacle, the wonderful fragrances emitted from the flowers and the angelic sound of strings playing in the background provided such a dreamy atmosphere and created anticipation for the Bride’s arrival and what lay ahead for the rest of the day. Creating the entrance is important and we want our couple to feel as special as possible as it’s one of life’s most memorable moments.
To do this, we added a white carpeted aisle which was lined with large hero purple flowers, with hanging and low floating candles on perspex plinths to give the grandeur and height for the perfect aisle. To add to the show-stopping entrance, we added an extra elegant touch by covering the aisle ceiling with fairy lights.
When the Bride greets her Groom at the end of the aisle, this should feel as momentous as it can be. This is where the Bride and Groom made their promises together and began the start of their new lives as Mr & Mrs. IWE created a full sweeping, hanging floral statement down the front of registrar table with a flower-packed, charming archway overhead.
This elegant, colourful and aromatic display helped to create the magical feel and this continued throughout the day. We believe that wedding will see more colour throughout 2018 and 2019 and this really did make the brides pure ivory, luxury Susanne Neville gown ‘pop’ on this occasion!
We are lucky enough to say that this is what we as Irlam Warburton Events created for our lovely couple and the bride and groom had a wonderful day.
‘I still can’t believe that our wedding day, was our day. It was beyond all of our expectations’ Katie Ainscough (Bride)
